  • Adult class – Kathy Bergen long time worker in Israel/Palestine with Mennonite Central Committee, begins a 3-part series of classes delving into the complex Palestinian-Israeli issues.
  • Youth class – Nancy Brubaker helping us prep to lead Messy Church.
  • Messy Church for ages, 0-100 in the East Hall.

12:00 pmHispanic Community fundraising lunch (proceeds to cover costs of our Pupusa & Empanada booth at the New Hamburg Relief Sale.) 1:15 pm Congregational Meeting to make financial plans for 2018. Child care provided. Ponemos en lugar nuestro plan financiero para el año 2018.

3:00 – 5:00 pm – Skating at the “Aud” with our KENA (King East Neighbour Association) friends. ¡Estamos todos invitados a ir de patinar después de la reunión, con nuestros vecinos!

3 – 4 pm Join your neighbours on the ice the Kitchener Rangers play on. Half the ice will be for skating, the other for all-ages hockey. (Helmet required but not full equipment – no raising the puck, slapshots, or body contact.) Please bring $5 per skater to cover the rental costs. Non-skaters can watch from the benches. Use Facebook? 4 – 5 pm Put on your full hockey equipment for a full-ice, full-speed non-contact hockey game. Teenagers welcome with their parent’s permission. $10/skater. Contact Scott Albrecht or go to the Eventbrite page forticketsto the adult hockey game. Use Facebook? Check out the event here.
