This Weekend ~ September 23-24

Greetings FMC family. ¡Saludos a todos!    Hope you’ll join us over the next couple of months as we touch on the topic of deepening our discipleship practices and encountering God in the everydays of life.

Here’s what’s happening this weekend:

Sunday/Domingo
9:30 -10:30 am
Messy Church – 0-100 year olds, gather in the East Hall.  This is a multi-sensory, intergenerational, experiential-based approach to spirituality, worship and the Bible, open to all, and especially geared to children. Come and join us in learning and living our faith out together! Check in with Erin Gonzalia or Anna Janecek for more info.
Youth Class – grades 8–12+, meet in the youth room. Teacher:  Scott Albrecht.
Adult Faith Formation in the West Hall — Being a disciple. Leader:  Arli Klassen
10:45 am Worship   Jesus, the man had 3 dimensions to his life:  his relationship with the unseen God; his interactions with his followers, and his encounters with people all around him every day.  These dimensions are not new to us as Anabaptists, but how are we doing at keeping them in balance as we live as his disciples today?   Nancy Brubaker preaching.

Name Tag season –From now through Thanksgiving everyone at FMC is asked to wear a name tag, to help us in connecting  names and faces. Computer generated name tags are provided by the office and stored in your mailbox.  Do you need a name tag?  Do you need a mailbox? Let the church office know.

7 pm FMC Sunday night soccer at Waterloo Park –  casual pickup games for everyone on the fields close to the Westmount entrance (located down the hill to the left of the parking lot). More info: Felipe Gonzalia.

Ride for Refuge –  Would you like to support Mennonite Coalition for Refugee Support (MCRS) through Pastor Nancy, riding on Saturday, Sept 30 in Ride for Refuge?  Your donation to Blazing Saddles is much appreciated.
